Passionate about education and sharing knowledge, Shoba has extensive experience in the education industry. After her Masters in India, she moved to Austin, Texas, where she did a PhD in comparative literature. Subsequently, she began her career in admissions consulting. In the last 17 years, Shoba has worked with over 1500 students assisting them with their application process.
The experience of placing students in different programs across the world has given her a wide exposure
to the requirements for diverse programs such as MBA, MS, EMBA and PhD. She takes pride in the fact that her students have garnered considerable scholarships.
Besides her involvement in admissions consulting, Shoba supports various causes, including education for economically disadvantaged children and care for stray animals. An avid traveler, she has lived in the US for 8 years, in Singapore for 2 years and has traveled extensively across Europe.
Shoba's idea of relaxation is to immerse herself in reading and her choices range from fiction to philosophy.
Relieve the stress of the application process by laughing with her about her first (and last) stomach churning roller coaster ride in Houston or her hair raising balloon flight in Austin or her nail biting trip on a recalcitrant elephant in Chiang Mai.
